What I like to do on my holiday

Holidays, without homeworks and task, may be too boring for people cause they sometimes be the time when there are absolutely nothing to do to pass the time. As for me, I have some things that I do in those times to make holidays feel better. There are 3 things that I like to do on my holiday.

              

The first thing is watching YouTube videos. Some of the videos can be educating for me, like cooking videos. In those videos I can know cooking techniques like frying, pan searing, etc. From those videos I also learn that almost every single part of an animal can be cooked or served. Like how we can serve bone marrow as an appetizer with wine or cow brain being able to be served as head cheese. I'm actually entertained by watching horror videos. There are usually jumpscares in the videos, which give me some "kicks" that I like. And of course, the grotesque looks of the ghost gets me the frights that I like.



The second thing I like to do is listening to songs. I like it because some of it have beautiful lyrics. The "you're here there's nothing I fear" part in the song "My Heart Will Go On" is an example of a beautiful lyric that I like, as I feel the depth of love described in the song. And the music that gives clear atmosphere of the songs is also the reason why I like listening to songs. Sometimes there are drum sounds which gives more dramatic feelings in the songs. Or smooth guitar fingerstyle usually used in intro to give calm mood about the song to the listeners.



The last one is playing guitar. I do it to express my feelings through songs with guitar. Sometimes when I hear a song that matches my feelings and current conditions, I play guitar to look for the notes and chords of the song so I can play it myself. And I like playing guitar cause some genres have cool chord. Like in jazz genre usually has cool chords like Gmaj7 requiring me to use 4 fingers and F that needs my index finger to tap on all strings in the first fret of the guitar.

Surely there are more interesting things that I like to do. But for me as an electrical engineering student, which usually have only few holidays and free time, those 3 things are the best and most enjoyable way to spend those holidays.
