Glass production
1. Mixing sand, soda ash, Limestone and other chemical.
2. Melting glass furnace (approx. 1500 Celcius).
3. Shaping molten glass blowing.
4. Glass containers

Paragraph 4
Glass recycling
1. Collecting of used glass.
2. Sorting by its colour.
3. Washing (remove impurities)
4. Crushing and melting.
5. Moulding into new products.
The diagrams explain the way in which
glass containers, such as bottles, are produced and recycled.
Overall,
the process consists of 4 stages
of glass production and 5 stages of glass recycling. The glass production
process begins with mixing the materials and ends up with the finished glass
containers. And the glass recycling process begins with the collection of used
glass and ends up with moulding them into new products.
First of all, sand, soda ash, limestone, and other chemicals are mixed. After that, the raw materials are melted in a glass furnace, where they are heated with an approximate temperature of 1500 Celsius. Then the melted materials are shaped in the molten glass bowling. Next, they are stored in the glass containers.
In
the glass recycling process, the used glasses are collected first. Next, they
are sorted depending on their color. After that, the sorted used glasses are
washed to remove their impurities. Then, the washed materials are crushed and
melted. Finally, the crushed and molten yields are turned into new products
after they are moulded.
-Thesis statement: The world’s oceans are filling up
with waste plastics which is bad because it creates some problems.
Problems
- Many lives are in danger
- Water pollution
Solutions
- Reduce the use of plastic bags
- Use bio degradable plastics
Conclusion
Plastics pollute our oceans and give some problems
if nothing is done. But there are solutions for this problem. There are still
things that we can do. And it’s up to us humans to solve this problem and
make a better life for ourselves, other creatures, and oceans.
Plastic is used for many things in our
life. It is used as a material for bags, packages, bottles, etc. Because of the
common use of plastic, we can find plastic everywhere, and often in the form of
trash. Plastic trash can be found in many places, including oceans. And not
only plastics from human daily use can end up in the oceans, but also from
industries and manufactures that can throw their plastic waste to the oceans as
it’s easier to dispose that much of wastes just by simply throwing it somewhere
else. The world’s oceans are filling up with waste plastics which is bad
because it creates some problems.
The first problem created by this
phenomenon is that many lives are in danger. Waste plastics in the sea can be
eaten by animals like fish, crabs, shrimps, etc. Those waste plastics are
obviously not good for those animals as they can kill them if the consumption
level is high. Birds can also die if they are tricked by those plastics because
of their bright colours. When they eat those plastics, they can die from
suffocation. Another problem is water pollution. Oceans are getting more
polluted if this problem are not solved. This is because the degradation time
of plastics can take up to 1000 years, which makes it safe to say that if
plastics end up in the ocean, they don’t degrade by themselves and pollute the
water for the next 1000 years.
One way to address this problem is to
reduce the use of plastic bags. We can do it by bringing our fabric bags when we
shop or go somewhere and we need to bring our stuffs. The idea is to decrease
our plastic use as low as possible so there will be less waste plastics.
Another way is to use bio degradable plastics. This type of plastic takes
shorter time to degrade, which is good for nature and oceans. This means that
even if those plastics end up in oceans, it will degrade faster.
In conclusion, plastics pollute our oceans
and give some problems if nothing is done. But there are solutions for this
problem. There are still things that we can do. And it’s up to us humans to
solve this problem and make a better life for ourselves, other creatures, and
oceans.
While internet offers many conveniences, it also has
some dangers.
Arguments For
·First, we can learn new things easily.
·Second, it helps us to know places.
·Third, it allows us to communicate with other
people easier.
Arguments against
·First, your personal data can be mined.
·Second, internet makes you prone to be
cyberbullied if you’re active on social medias.
·Third, too much internet can be bad for your
health.
Conclusion
In my opinion, we have to use the internet wisely as
it gives tremendous advantages which are useful for our lives.
Internet is a network of networks that
consists of private, public, academic, business, and government networks of
local to global scope. It links many people and parties. It has been used for a
while by people on daily basis to help their jobs or make things they have to
do become easier. While internet offers many conveniences, it also has some
dangers.
Internet has some good things. First, we
can learn new things easily. There are many tutorial videos on YouTube. And
also many articles of learning materials and formulas. Second, it helps us to
know places. For instance, if we get lost we can find ways by looking at Google
Maps. This also can guide us to go to places we want to visit. Third, it allows
us to communicate with other people easier. Applications like Line and
Instagram let us to text or video chat people far away from us with the help of
internet connection.
But internet also has some bad things. First,
your personal data can be mined. It can be done by hacking your personal
accounts. And those datas can be used to blackmail you or be used for the
hackers’ personal purposes. Second, internet makes you prone to be cyberbullied
if you’re active on social medias. The bully can bully you easily without fear
as not presenting his identity while bullying you is possible by staying
anonymous. The bully actions can be mocking, spreading lies about you, etc.
Third, too much internet can be bad for your health. Internet can make you stay
up late by keeping you checking social media like Instagram, or watching videos
which can give you sleep deprivation. It can also make you worry about other
people’s lives and compare it to yours constantly, which is of course not
healthy, as it can give you unnecessary stress.
In conclusion, internet has both its own
conveniences and dangers. In my opinion, we have to use the internet wisely as
it gives tremendous advantages which are useful for our lives. Even though
internet also has disadvantages, we simply have to avoid them since most are
avoidable or preventable, and focus on the internet’s advantages.
In Indonesia, there are some reasons why healthcare
should be funded by the government.
Paragraph 2
First, it’s a country’s duty to protect citizens’
lives.
Fact: In the opening of Indonesian law paragraph 4
that states the nation will protect its people.
Paragraph 3
Second, it’d be good to help Indonesian poor people
to get healthcare.
Fact: accorrding to statistics, there are still 25.95
million Indonesian people that live in poverty.
Paragraph 4
Better health program can be improved in Indonesia,
which can improve better living quality of people.
Fact: JKN (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional) had the
satisfaction rate of 78.6%.
Counter argument
Argument: The money from tax would be better to be
used for infrastructures, technologies, public facilities, etc.
Counter argument: Improving healthcare and ensuring
health for people is more important
Conclusion
Summarizing all arguments and state that healthcare
should be funded by government.
Health care is the maintenance or
improvement of health via the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease,
illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in people. It is
needed for people as humans who can get sick at some points. It can be obtained
by paying or free provided by governments. Because of its importance, people
should get healthcare for their own good, even if it’s funded by government if
the people can’t get it. In Indonesia, there are some reasons why healthcare
should be funded by the government.
First, it’s a country’s duty to protect
citizens’ lives. It’s because a nation is made of people. If Indonesia fund
healthcare for its people, that means Indonesia does its job well to ensure the
good lives of people who pledge their lives and loyalty to the country. And it’s
also clearly stated in the opening of Indonesian law 1945 paragraph 4 as such “melindungi
segenap bangsa Indonesia dan seluruh tumpah darah Indonesia”, which translates
to “protecting the entire Indonesian people” in short, government fulfill its
promise and duty to protect Indonesian people. In this case protecting from
diseases, illness, etc.
Second, it’d be good to help Indonesian
poor people to get healthcare. According to Indonesian statistics, there are
25.95 million Indonesian people still living in poverty. These people surely
consist of humans with the needs of healthcare. It’d be unfair for them if they
just live with untreated illness only because they don’t have the money to get
the proper treatment. It’s totally a good idea to give government funded
healthcare, as shown from FEB UI research that Indonesian Health Card program helped
1.16 million poor people to be healthy again.
Third, better health program can be improved
in Indonesia, which can improve better living quality of people. There are
various healthcare program conductors in Indonesia that have shown good result
of their jobs. For example, JKN (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional) had the
satisfaction rate of 78.6%. This tells us that good healthcare satisfy
Indonesian people. And that better health program can be achieved in such a
clear way.
People may think that money from tax would
be better to be used for infrastructures, technologies, public facilities, etc.
They would think those are the important things for the government to spend
money on to be a better nation. But it’s wrong cause those things aren’t human
basic needs that the government should focus on. Instead, improving healthcare
and ensuring health for people is more important cause those people, Indonesian
people are the ones who run the country. Workers, farmers, teachers, etc are
the ones who make this country keeps existing and well. Surely they should be
the priority for the government to care about.
In conclusion, healthcare should be funded
by the government cause there are some factors that agree with it. Being the
country’s duty, helping Indonesian poor people, and improving better health
program are the reasons why the Indonesian government should fund healthcare.
In this essay we will discuss the similarities and
differences of learning math and languages as they are both knowledges but
different to an extent.
Similarities
First, we need practice to master both of them. Second,
both has rules.
Difference
They have different focuses.
Conclusion
In conclusion, learning languages and math has
similarities and difference, Both need practice if you want to be good at
them, and both also has rules.
Learning is getting to know new things that
a person hasn’t known before. People can gain knowledge by learning. There are
so many knowledge in the world that a person can learn. But obviously, people
wouldn’t learn them all at once, or even consider to learn due to their needs.
For example aspiring businessmen can learn business strategies, cooks can learn
recipes, and engineers can learn physics. But there are basic knowledge that a
person needs to learn which are often taught in school. 2 of them are math and
languages. In this essay we will discuss the similarities and differences of
learning math and languages as they are both knowledges but different to an
extent.
Learning math and languages has some
similarities. First, we need practice to master both of them. For math we need
to do calculations over and over again to understand the concepts. While when
we learn languages we need to make sentences and use the language in our daily
life to become better at it. Eventhough the way we practice is different, but
both need practice if we want to be good at them. Second, both has rules. In
math we have exact formulas, while in languages we have grammar rules. Math has
formulas to calculate area, volume, etc. But in languages, for example in
English, we have tenses, essay structure, etc.
Learning math and languages also has a
difference, They have different focuses. Math is focused on numbers, while
languages is focused on words and sentences. That’s why we count numbers and
solve mathematical equations in math. Unlike when we learn language, in which we
are focused on joining words and make them into sentence and eventually essays.
In conclusion, learning languages and math
has similarities and difference, Both need practice if you want to be good at
them, and both also has rules. While their focus may be the thing that make
them different, as math concerns about numbers, while language concerns abput
words and sentences.
